INT. MADAM GOLD RESTAURANT - CONTINOUS
There's a lot of rattling inside the restaurant.
Many customers wanting to be attended to.
Nuel is seated in a corner in the restaurant;
eating and sweaty just like everyone else.
Nuel notices a shabbily dressed middle-aged man
walk into the restaurant. Each time it gets to the man's turn to be attended
to, he motions that the next person should be attended to while he steps back.
Shortly, Nuel is through with his meal. He
washes his hands, takes some toothpick, brings out his wallet but finds no cash
in it.
SCENE 10
Busy hot afternoon. Traffic is light. A shiny
black Honda Civic SUV is cruising along Allen in
Ikeja.

FUNKE
(To
Oshoke)
Isn't that
my husband's car?
Oshoke looks to see the vehicle her boss is
pointing.
FUNKE
The black one in front?
OSHOKE

FUNKE
But Kunle
isn't the one driving it.
OSHOKE

got the guts to drive my husband's car around town like that?!
OSHOKE

He begins a chase. He discretely dials Kunle's
phone number. Adjusts the Bluetooth gear in his ears and awaits Kunle to pick.
KUNLE
(Over the phone)

OSHOKE
(Loudly)

FUNKE

you shouting? I'm right here.
OSHOKE

for my wallet.
MADAM GOLD

Nuel steps out to his car.

KUNLE
Hello
Oshoke. Why are you calling me but talking to my wife?
OSHOKE
I dey pursue Oga car.
KUNLE
You dey pursue...
FUNKE
(Interrupts)

Will you try and get closer to that car and stop telling me what you're doing!
Let me tell you, if you lose that car just know that you've lost your job.
OSHOKE

Kunle overhears the dialogue. He is now aware
something is not right.
KUNLE
Hello Oshoke , I believe you cannot talk right now. If
that's correct; cough.
Oshoke coughs. Funke stirs at him disgustingly.
FUNKE

wife's got you chasing after my car?
Oshoke acknowledges with a cough.
KUNLE

sure it's my car she saw?
Oshoke acknowledges with a cough.

(Silence)

Oshoke acknowledges with a sneeze.
FUNKE

Why're you sneezing and coughing all of a sudden?
(Hisses)
KUNLE

find out where you guys are. Hold the line.
He takes his second phone and dials it.
