SCENE 17 INT. EDWIN'S HOUSE/ROOM - CONTINOUS Edwin is still watching tape: VIDEO: Ugo hurries off camera. Lady pushes record button on camcorder, holds up script and starts rehearsing in front of camera. LADY(ON CAM) (REHEARSING) What do you mean "no be him"? Will you follow that car and let me see who's got the guts to drive my husband's car around town like that?! LADY(ON CAM) That's fair. I think that's okay. Let me try another line. She holds up script again to rehearse. LADY(ON CAM) (REHEARSING) ...So? Will you try and get closer to that car and stop telling me what you're doing! Let me tell you, if you lose that car just know that you've lost your three months... There is a knock on the door. Girl goes off camera. Only voices can now be heard: LADY(OFF CAM) What are you doing here, Dave? DAVE(OFF CAM) What am I doing in my father's house? LADY(OFF CAM) But the estate has already been shared... DAVE(OFF CAM) You think I give a damn, Yvonne?! Isn't that you and your stupid lawyer's plan? You think I don't know what you guys are planning next? YVONNE(OFF CAM) What are you talking about, Dave? What plan? DAVE(OFF CAM) Shut up! He hits her. Yvonne screams. DAVE(OFF CAM) Stop playing dumb with me. He continues to hit her. They appear on camera at intervals as he shoves her around the living room. Dave is seen gagging her from screaming. DAVE(CONT'D)(ON CAM) I know what you and your lawyer are planning. Father would have made me his complete heir if not for your devilish schemes with your lawyer... Yvonne falls prostrate and hits head on stair. Dave feels her pulse. He sees that she is dead and excitedly walk upstairs. Ugo is heard off camera: UGO(OFF CAM) Sorry, Madam. I forget to take money for the juice... There is silence. She is seen in the camera checking what is wrong with Yvonne. She becomes scared as she hears Dave's voice from upstairs: DAVE(OFF CAM) You should never have planned against me! Ugo looks directly at the direction of the camera and realizes it must have recorded the killer. She sneaks to pick camcorder from rack. Video recording is now zigzag. Edwin is perplexed and stops tape. EDWIN Na wao.
