INT. GOLDEN GATE RESTAURANT/MRS ETIM'S TABLE - EVENING

Miss Etim sits opposite a giant-sized Tom at a table. They are being served.

Bruce is in opposite position with Amara at another close by table in the restaurant.

As Miss Etim and Tom chat indistinctly, there is a lot of artificial giggling by Miss Etim aimed at getting Bruce jealous and worked up. The sitting arrangement allows Miss Etim to be seen by Bruce who is right opposite whereas Amara has her back turned to her.

SCENE 23

INT. GOLDEN GATE RESTAURANT/BRUCE'S TABLE - SAME TIME

AMARA

I still do not know why we had to be here with them. This doesn’t look anything official. All this big people self! She’d better give us overtime for this. Do you think she’s going to give us extra pay for the extra work…?

Bruce is not paying attention to Amara. His eyes are fixated on Miss Etim. He stands and walks off without a word.

AMARA(CONT'D)

Where’re you going?

Bruce walks past Miss Etim and Tom at their table and looks her in the eyes jealously.

TOM

...Interestingly, you kind of laugh at everything I say.

MISS ETIM

              (Still giggling) Yeah, cos it’s funny. You’re funny.

TOM

              Really! I amuse you?

MISS ETIM

              Yeah.

TOM

You know, Rose, if things had been this charming between us few months back, we could’ve been married by now.

MISS ETIM

              Okay now, that wasn't funny.
