SCENE 27

EXT. GOLDEN GATE RESTAURANT/OUTSIDE - CONTINOUS

Bruce is seen outside the restaurant looking so furious and ashamed. Same Mercedes-Benz car with two young thuggish guys drive past slowly, again staring unhappily at Bruce who catches a glimpse of them. Bruce grabs a stone and throws it at the Benz. The car hurries off. Bruce begins to walk.

SCENE 28

INT. GOLDEN GATE RESTAURANT/AMARA'S TABLE - SAME TIME

Amara who has been feeling bad the way Bruce was treated, looks behind her and finds a waiter approaching her direction. As the waiter is about to walk past her with a tray of dish, she trips the waiter deliberately, and the whole content of the tray spills all over Tom causing upheaval.

TOM

              Good God!

Miss Etim can’t help but chuckle.

SCENE 29

INT. MAGNET OIL AND GAS/MISS ETIM'S OFFICE - MORNING

Miss Etim is seen signing a cheque. She tears the signed cheque out of the booklet and hands it to Amara.

MISS ETIM

Cash it. Bring the money here so we can pay off the suppliers who demanded cash.

AMARA

Yes, ma'am.

MISS ETIM

And get me Bruce on your way out.

Amara leaves. Miss Etim starts to readjust her dress. She begins a monologic rehearsal.

MISS ETIM

(Upsettingly)

You! Why did you disobey me...no, no, no. Bruce, why did you walk out on me like that?! No.

(Calmly)

Bruce, I don't like the way you walked out on me and Tom... And Tom? Nah.
