EXT. UNION HOUSE - SAME TIME

Amara is a plump lady in her late 20s. She’s standing in front of a skyscraper with the inscription “UNION HOUSE” at the very top of the high-rise building.

AMARA(INTO PHONE)

Ma’am, we are right in front of the Union House waiting. As a matter of fact, as I speak, the MD of Global Oil LTD just arrived in his yellow Hummer.

MISS ETIM(INTO PHONE)

              High Chief Ehijie?

AMARA(INTO PHONE)

Yes, ma’am.

MISS ETIM(INTO PHONE)

              Ok. I’m almost there. You have the slides for the presentation?

AMARA

              Yes ma’am.

MISS ETIM

              How about the projector?

AMARA

              Bruce and I have already mounted the projector in the meeting room.

MISS ETIM

              (Pause)

Bruce is there with you?

AMARA

              Yes.

MISS ETIM

              Can you hand him the phone?

Bruce, 36, handsome, receives cell phone from Amara.

BRUCE

              Good morning ma’am.

Miss Etim does not answer. She’s engrossed by the sound of Bruce’s voice.

BRUCE(CONT'D)

Miss Etim?

MISS ETIM

              How are you Bruce?

BRUCE

              I’m fine. Thank you.

MISS ETIM

              (Mutters)

How was your night? Did you sleep well?

Chauffeur looks at her from the car’s inner mirror   incredulously.

BRUCE

              Very well, ma’am. Thanks for asking.
